The Beginning of Regan Hedrick Photography

While this appears to be the beginning of something new, this is a project that has been in the works for quite some time (to say the least). For the longest time, taking pictures was my way to capture memories that I was too attached to to one day forget. It then turned into a way to invite other people into various spaces and moments in time. There is something beautiful about the story behind every photo captured! I continued to gain experience and have more fun taking pictures through opportunities at my local church, Brazos Fellowship. I have grown in many ways at Brazos Fellowship, and I am thankful that photography is one of those ways.

I first considered turning this passion of mine into a business in 2020. I began taking pictures of my friends' ring days, senior pictures, etc. It was in these moments that I fell in love with portrait photography.

Taking a leap can be scary. It's what held me back from kicking this off a year ago. There is a vulnerability that comes with sharing your work with others. But I can confidently say that I am SO excited to take the leap, and even more excited to see where this journey will take me! Thanks for coming along on this adventure with me!
